    • Regional Teams are comprised of players who are looking for coaching and development in the sport before playing at an elite level.

    • Select Teams are comprised of high-level players with the skill set and attitude to play at an elite level.

    • National Select Teams are comprised of elite-level players who are looking for out-of-state competition and recruiting showcases.

  • We are holding tryouts on August 13th and 14th for the Fall 2022 season. It is not too late to sign up!

  • Each team averages two coaches, each specializing in a certain position. Coaches are trained to use our player development model to ensure they are meeting milestone goals per season.

  • Not only does each team have an offensive and defensive coach, but we also have two goalie coaches and a draw/faceoff coach on our staff. We understand and value the importance of our specialized players which is why we invest so much time and effort into making sure our specialty coaches spend countless hours per season training players.

Meet the Program Staff

  • Maddie Lewis-Soviero

    FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Maddie has been involved in growing the game of lacrosse in Tampa Bay since 2017. Maddie is the founder and Executive Director of 10X Lacrosse- which operates 2 youth lacrosse programs with year-round offerings, the Palms Lacrosse Club regional travel program, day clinics, and camps, as well as overnight lacrosse camp experiences. Between each program and event opportunity, 10X Lacrosse provides lacrosse offerings for over 500 unique players.

    Maddie grows the game of lacrosse worldwide through grassroots efforts from hosting coaches clinics in Hong Kong to introducing the game of lacrosse to children in Panama. She is passionate about the experience of sports in a child's development, access to opportunity, and character development.

    Maddie hires and coordinates training for Palms LC coaches, sets season programs, oversees growth initiatives, and manages operations & communication for the Palms. Maddie is also the head coach of the girl’s varsity lacrosse team at Berkeley Prep!

  • Daniel Soviero

    FOUNDER, BOYS PROGRAM LEADER

    Dan is a long-time Lacrosse Coach: He has coached many teams, from the national travel level to local youth and travel programs. He has coached around the country from New York to California, and everywhere in between. Dan believes that developing a passion for the sport is the first step to success.

    Dan is originally from Jupiter, FL where he picked up the stick for the very first time in 8th grade. Through amazing mentorship and coaching Dan was able to maximize his drive to become one of the top mid-fielders in the state, receiving first team All-American honors twice and taking his team to the final four. Since then, he was recruited to play D1 Lacrosse at St John University, then transferring to play D2 at University of Tampa, to focus on starting a business (Signature Lacrosse).

    Through it all, Dan has given back to the sport through coaching. Dan leads the boy’s program development, coaches training, and much more.

  • Vanessa Tsarevich

    PROGRAM DIRECTOR

    Vanessa is the Program Director of Palms LC and the Girls South Tampa Sticks. She coaches the STS Girls Spring teams and is an executive board member of the FGCLL. Throughout the year, you can find Vanessa coaching clinics and doing private lessons with girls of all ages. Vanessa has even started a women’s lacrosse league in South Tampa. Originally from NY, Vanessa is new to the Florida lacrosse scene. She's eager to continue growing the sport in the South and creating a platform for athletes to develop their confidence as individuals and on the field.

    Vanessa played lacrosse at Keuka College in Upstate NY as an attacker and midfielder. Tallied a total of 150 career points, 75 ground balls, and 50 draw controls. She set a new school record with 22 free position goals in a single season. Finished 1st for career-free position goals in program history and 7th overall for career goals. If you see Vanessa out on the fields with her dog, Novie, make sure you stop to say hi!

    Vanessa leads the on-field experience and the behind-the-scenes management of the Palms program.
